تقرير البنك الفرنسي - مأزق العمالة السعودية

This is a very alarming report, to overcome this challenge it require a huge collaboration between us (Public and Government ). Regards, Dear all, As Arab populations raise their voices in pursuit of various reforms, it is an auspicious time to examine the steps necessary for Saudi Arabia to embark on meaningful labour market reform geared toward tackling a pressing youth unemployment dilemma. In this report we examine education and labour market policies currently underway to improve the quality of instruction and engage the private sector more fully in creating jobs for citizens. The report*, “Employment quandary: Youth struggle to find work raises urgency for reform”*, explores a number of themes, including: - Youth unemployment in some age brackets multiples above the official rate of 10% - Private sector failing to create jobs for nationals, continues to hire foreigners, who dominate 90% of the private workforce - Private sector must shoulder the burden of new job creation for two-thirds of Saudis below the age of 30, through policies including introduction of minimum wage - State development plan targets better quality, more relevant instruction - Productivity of public and private sectors has weakened in recent years; turnaround in private sector GDP growth essential to job creation. - Improving infrastructure and policies to ease burden of high property prices and escalating food costs can be introduced, and easily financed, to quell citizen concerns Kind regards, John Sfakianakis Chief Economist
